Dignity in Action - February 2026

  • My PAs talk to me when they are supporting me. After being ignored by previous agency staff, I feel so much more comfortable and relaxed now I'm included. 
  • We don’t all have the same religion as (the client), but we do understand the importance of their beliefs and support them with their faith.
  • Always ask - don’t assume!
  • Just finished my Compassion and Dignity refresher training - I passed! We do a lot already, but its good to think about this and have a reminder about how to make things personal to (the client).
  • Our team have been discussing how to make sure we always treat (our client) with dignity and respect and not just take it for granted they think we do this. We’re going to talk more about feelings and make sure any changes needed are spoken about to make sure (the client) is happy.
  • I signed up to be a Dignity Champion, thanks for the reminder! I shared some examples from the forum with our team.
  • I had two new team members recently - straight away they showed they understand I’m a human being with my own thoughts and feelings. I feel heard and more in control.
