Personal Care Assistant Required – [SOLOHGS]

Job Title: Personal Care Assistant

Location: Beeston, Nottingham

Hours: 16 hours per week across 5 days

Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour

Contract Type: Part-time

About the Role:

A personal care assistant is required to support a young man living in the Beeston area with day-to-day tasks, enabling him to live independently and confidently at home and in the community. This is a part-time role offering consistent hours and a meaningful opportunity to make a positive impact in someone’s life.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assisting with household duties including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and meal preparation
• Supporting with grocery shopping and attending appointments
• Providing practical support while promoting independence
• Adapting to varying daily routines and needs as required

Candidate Requirements:

• A reliable and trustworthy individual with a flexible approach to work
• Ability to adapt to different situations and respond calmly under pressure
• A friendly, approachable manner with a good sense of humour
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred but not essential

Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience in a care or support role is an advantage, but not essential
• Understanding of personal boundaries and confidentiality in a care setting
