ABOUT THE ROLE
I am an active young lady in my twenties, and I will be starting university at Oxford Brookes University in September. I am looking for a personal assistant to help me outside of university with emotional support with maintaining my mental wellbeing and providing assistance and guidance for me to access and attend activities that I love doing. I may also need help with day-to-day routines such as meal planning/ budget planning and domestic duties.
I have a lot of interests which include animals, helping people, drawing, craft activities, trampolining, horse riding, gymnastics, water activities and swimming.
I have a diagnosis of Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Autism, ADHD, and PTSD and I will need support to understand and process information, communication and social interaction, and reassurance and support because of my anxiety and low self-esteem and how overwhelming and frightening things are for me sometimes. I have a very supportive family, and they would work closely with my PA to help you learn how to support me, and there is training to help you have full understanding of my conditions.
I am a pleasure to be around, and I am eager to find the right person to support me in this new phase of my life in a positive and proactive way; focusing on and developing my strengths, abilities, dreams and aspirations.
